NeuroPi Terms of Service

Welcome to NeuroPi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, app, genetic analysis tools, reports, and related services ("Services").

By using NeuroPi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) to use NeuroPi. By using our Services, you represent that you are legally eligible to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Services

NeuroPi provides:

• Genetic and neurocognitive data analysis
• Personalized trait-based insights and wellness recommendations
• Optional cognitive testing tools
• Optional contribution to research (opt-in)

NeuroPi does not provide medical advice. See Section 7 for disclaimers.

3. User Account & Consent

To access certain features:

• You must register an account with accurate personal information
• You must upload valid DNA/genotype data (e.g., 23andMe, AncestryDNA)
• You must provide explicit consent before we process your genetic information

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

4. Privacy

Your data privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

• What data we collect
• How we use and store it
• Your rights to access, delete, or control your data

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Only use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not share, sell, or distribute NeuroPi reports without permission
• Not upload DNA data that does not belong to you unless legally authorized (e.g., guardian or legal proxy)
• Not use our platform for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes

6. DNA & Health Data

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring the DNA file you upload is accurate and properly obtained
• Understanding the personal implications of receiving genetic insights
• Consulting a qualified health professional for medical decisions

We do not interpret or diagnose diseases. Insights provided are informational only.

7. Disclaimers

NeuroPi is not a medical service. The Services are not intended to:

• Diagnose, treat, or cure any condition
• Replace the advice of licensed health professionals
• Provide emergency mental or physical health support

All reports and recommendations are for informational and wellness purposes only.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, reports, and logos on NeuroPi are the intellectual property of NeuroPi Tech Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors.

You may view and download your personal report for personal use.

You may not reproduce, sell, or distribute NeuroPi content without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeuroPi and its affiliates are not liable for:

• Any loss or damage from reliance on genetic or cognitive reports
• Emotional distress, anxiety, or decisions made based on your results
• Third-party misuse of your data if you share your report externally
• Service disruptions or data loss due to force majeure or third-party failures

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration or a competent court located in Hyderabad, Telangana.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:

• You breach these Terms
• You misuse or abuse the platform
• Required by law

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after changes means you agree to the revised Terms.
